Through our website you can find free publications, a toll-free helpline (866-824-RISK), local outreach groups, and information about our annual conference. We empower people by providing support, information, and resources and promoting research, awareness, and advocacy.

Bright Pink

Bright Pink is a unique resource providing education, support, and a sense of community to young women who are at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer. We arm young women with knowledge, options and a great attitude, and offer companionship and empathy during their journey. We empower them to take control of their breast and ovarian health and in turn, grant them the freedom and peace of mind to live a beautiful and fulfilling life.

Coalition for Genetic Fairness

The Coalition for Genetic Fairness was founded in 2000 to address the growing concern surrounding the misuse of genetic information in insurance and employment decisions. The Coalition’s objective is to urge Congress to pass comprehensive federal legislation outlawing genetic discrimination and to educate the public about these protections. Initially, the Coalition consisted of civil rights, patient and health care organizations, but was expanded in 2005 to include industry groups and employers.

National Society of Genetic Counselors

The National Society of Genetic Counselors was incorporated in 1979 to ensure growth and development within the genetic counseling profession and to recognize genetic counselors unique role in health care delivery. The Society's Vision is to be the leading voice, authority and advocate for the genetic counseling profession and their Mission is to promote the genetic counseling profession as a recognized and integral part of health care delivery, education, research and public policy.
